Based in our branch in Auckland as a Heavy Diesel Technician, you will ensure our clients vehicles are serviced and maintained to the manufacturer’s standard. You will have a strong eye for detail, ensuring that faults and preventative repairs are identified. You will work on the latest model vehicles from light commercial through to high productivity truck and trailer units at 50 tons. You will work autonomously and be responsible for ensuring that the jobs are completed in a timely and efficient manner.
Our workshop has a steady supply of work and hours can be varied to suit our customer’s needs. We would prefer applications from people who can have flexibility around evening and weekend work.
This position will suit a technician with experience in heavy diesel or an interest in a change from light petrol automotive. We are willing to train the right applicant.
To be successful in this role you must have;
- A genuine interest in trucking
- Fully qualified Diesel Technician
- The ability to follow both written and verbal instructions
- Experience in a similar light or heavy automotive type role
- A full driver’s license – Class 2 HT license ideal but not essential
- Isuzu Truck knowledge preferred but not required.
- At least 5 years post apprenticeship experience.
- A positive attitude and the ability to think for yourself
- A willingness to contribute to health and safety

We are seeking a positive and inspiring person to join our team as a Workshop Foreman. This position will assist to lead and supervise our team and make sure they operate effectively and efficiently on the floor.
This role will be responsible for ensuring customer retention and satisfaction is maximised. You will encourage staff to follow best practice and ensure we meet or exceed customer deadlines and expectations. A key part of this role is to develop our technicians, your industry experience, leadership skills and high standards will be imperative to your success. Depending on experience remuneration starts at a minimum of $42.00 per hour, at least 45 hours per week.
To be successful in this role you will have:
