Reporting to the Branch Manager at our Mt Maunganui branch, we are seeking a capable Service Administrator. The Service Administrator is a vital role in the success of our team that provides service and repairs through our mechanical workshop, you will handle and direct enquiries from customers, track work in progress to close out jobs, ensure customers are invoiced.
For you to be successful in this role, you’ll have the following attributes.
• A minimum of 3 years in office administration,
• Have a high level of attention to detail and accuracy
• Be very capable with Microsoft Office and pick up new systems quickly
• Have a warm friendly manner with customers and be a good communicator
• Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
• Work as a positive, helpful team member
. Previous experience in a motor vehicle dealership administration environment would be an advantage.
. 40 Hour per week.

Service Advisor

We are looking for an experienced Service Advisor for our busy Tauranga dealership.

We are seeking an experienced Service Advisor to join our busy Tauranga Dealership. Reporting to Service Manager, you will play a crucial role in the daily operations of our workshop, managing service schedules, handling customer queries, and ensuring clear communication with both internal and external customers. This is a unique opportunity as roles like this do not come up very often.
Key Responsibilities
- Schedule and organise service work for customer and internal sales vehicles.
- Communicate with customer from vehicle drop-off to pick -up, addressing their concerns and ensuring they are informed throughout the process.
- Accurately pass concerns to foreman and technicians, and relay technician feedback to customers.
- Raise, manage, and assist including gaining pre-approval for repairs from customers.
- Raise, manage and assist in closing job cards, including gaining pre-approval for repairs from customers.
- Upsell additional services
- Provide general administrative support to the Service Manager and the service team.
Requirements
- Prior experience as a Service Advisor in an automotive dealership or similar environment
- Excellent customer service and communication skills (both written and verbal).
- Solid computer literacy and strong personal presentation
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure and a team-oriented attitude
- An automotive trade certificate is advantageous but not essential.
